The wonders of Nitric Oxide and its use in Kinesiology

The otto 128Hz weighted tuning fork is one of the tuning forks that I use to promote the release of nitric oxide in my kinesiology sessions and this is why….

Nitric oxide (NO) is one of the most important molecules in your body for blood vessel health. It is made primarily inside vascular cells as well as nerve and immune cells.

NO is rhythmically released into surrounding cells as a gas in 6 minute cycles known as “puffing”, which was realised by 3 research scientists that won the Nobel prize in 1998 for this discovery.

NO works as a vasodilator acting on the endothelial lining of the blood vessels causing them to become more pliable, flexible and elastic and able to naturally expand and contract. This enables blood cells and platelets to move freely in the bloodstream. Unhealthy endothelium becomes inflamed due to “flat lined” nitric oxide causing this surface to become hard and sticky causing blood cells and platelets to adhere to blood vessel walls leading to atherosclerosis. Now this results in a reduced blood flow causing less nutrients and oxygen to be able to get to the cells which leads to a more acidic environment , low voltage in the cells and less ability for detoxification.

Unresolved stress and trauma can cause this flat lining, a compromise in NO rhythm. The NO production can be diminished or stop completely. Over time flat lining leads to proinflammation and a depressed immune function which results in tissue pathology as explained above.

This manifests as a lack of energy, joint pain, decreased sexual drive and function, headaches, mild depression, memory loss and poor digestion.

Over a longer period of time, if NO rhythms are not restimulated, these symptoms can escalate into major diseases, which include; cardiovascular disease, diabetes, Alzheimer’s, depression, autoimmune diseases, erectile dysfunction, motor neurone disease and cancer.

Some benefits attributed to the healthy cellular release of nitric oxide include;

- Enhanced cell vitality (anti-aging)

-Stabilised body metabolism (weight control)

-Enhanced vascular flow (reduction in free radicals)

-Increased ability to fight infections and viruses (antibacterial and antiviral)

-Increased levels of energy and stamina (stress reduction)

-Increased cerebral blood flow (enhanced memory)

-Detoxification of digestive tract (enhanced digestion)

-Greater sense of well-being (anti-depressant)

Thus restoring your cells ability to puff nitric oxide will have a significant impact on your health and well-being.
